Argh! That annoying red dot! However it didn’t come out in the recording so you don’t have to put up with it at least. Maybe it was all in my mind… Anyway everything else went fine. I had an idea to improve the depth information: If I take just the nearest depth from each panorama then mash them all together (like I’ve done in previous tests) BUT I only use the nearest texture across the WHOLE scene rather than take the nearest texture information from each panorama and try to stitch them together. That way I should be able to reduce the discontinuous nature of the geometry from one pano to the next. But I don’t have time for testing that just now. It’s way down the bottom of the to do list.
