I’m stoked! I put in a change to make the camera look ahead 5 meters and the difference is amazing. Nausea is vastly reduced. On the downside it crashed again. I REALLY need to fix that.

Oh my goodness I’m never doing a bicycle track again! I’d naively assumed it would be a pleasant experience but the panoramas are so wonkey  I felt constantly sick. Also I did about 30% more panoramas because of it and as a result it crashed much sooner that normal so it’s definitely related to the number of panoramas I encounter.

Fairly uneventful today but I REALLY need to get my town names displayed because I just can’t tell one village from another unless I get a really clear town sign.

My nose is sore! Over the last few days it’s been getting worse. My goggles are pressing too hard, i suspect because of the sweat band so I’m not going to use it for a while and see if that helps.

Bristol is lovely. At least the bits I saw. Also the Clifton suspension bridge. Awesome! A shame it’s not so well realised in VR. Also I had an idea to present information about a town as I cycle through it. Not sure if it can be done but if Google can tell me what town I’m in I can get information back from Wikipedia. What a great way to learn!

Passed through Backwell and arrived in Long Ashton. Also sorted out a better way to set up my videos so I don’t have to muck around so much in editing. Should also result in properly synchronised videos.

I’m out of Weston-super-mare and heading towards Bristol. Panoramas were a bit crazy today. Seemed to have multiple dates overlapping on the same road so it constantly alternated between light and dark.

Went through Weston-super-mare today. I’ve heard people speak very fondly of it in relation to their childhood. Perhaps you need to be 10 to enjoy it. I just felt sad.

I made some changes to ‘improve’ things and after 6 minutes I gave up, fixed the improvements and started again. That’s why this video doesn’t join to yesterday’s one properly. Seems to be ok now.

Lots of nice straight roads and buildings today. Mostly boring. But at 41 minutes, some action! My app crashed. I think I know why so should be ok by tomorrow.
